Ashika Lauren Singh zal een introductie in het feministische denken geven. Dit zal gebeuren aan de hand van de termen ‘sex’ en ‘gender’. Wat betekenen die? Wat denken mensen dat het onderscheid betekent en waarom is dit belangrijk voor het feminisme? De ideeën van enkele belangrijke feministische filosofes zullen uitgelegd worden en achteraf zal er tijd zijn voor een discussie met het publiek.

A practical introduction to feminist thought
Ashika Lauren Singh will give an introduction to feminist thought. This will be done by exploring the relationship between the terms sex and gender. What do they mean? What do people think this division means, and why is it important to feminism? The ideas of some important feminist philosophers will be explained and afterwards there shall be time for a discussion with the audience.
